 explore outdoor! is looking for models… We need 'real' people to model our latest clothing ranges and we need typical explore outdoor! customers to be photographed for our "spread the word…" ad campaign. We would love families, couples, singles and groups of friends, who enjoy the great outdoors, to come forward and be photographed in our clothes to feature in the new "spread the word..." advertising campaign. A typical explore outdoor! family might enjoy outdoors by mountain biking, running or going on long walks together. Couples, singles or groups might be canoeists, climbers, skiers or surfers. We believe the best way to advertise our clothing and equipment is to show real people, doing real activities, in real situations, using real gear. People who genuinely enjoy exploring outdoors will come across as excited, happy and fit. That has to be the best way to advertise what we sell. Wouldn't you prefer to see 'real' people and not just 'perfect' models? What do I have to do? Just send us photos of yourselves and your family and friends, enjoying your time outdoors, engaged in your favourite activities. Home photos are fine; there is no need for professional ones, as long as they are clear and in a digital format. They can be sent in on disc, flash drive or e-mailed. There will be an application form to complete and submit alongside the photos. The only criteria to be met will be availability to attend the photo shoot and permission to use all photos taken at the shoot for any advertising, using any media, on behalf of explore outdoor!... spread the word… But I don't look like Kate Moss! Don't worry… we need fit healthy people enjoying their outdoors. Very few of us do look like Kate Moss - but that doesn't matter at all… it's what people do and how they enjoy it that counts, it's what spread the word… is all about. Due to numerous requests we are happy to extend the deadline for modelling applications to Saturday 22nd June 2008. We are particularly interested in those people who enjoy mountain biking, surfing and skiing. The photo-shoot will now be re-scheduled to July 2008. All successful applicants will feature in some form of advertising - in the shop, on the website or in flyers and brochures. The best photos will form the core of our "spread the word..." campaign throughout the year (summer 08 - summer 09) If you are asked to the photo shoot you will have the opportunity to buy the clothes used for half price and receive 20% off all purchases from explore outdoor! for a whole year! Those applicants whose photos are in the core campaign will 30% off all purchases from explore outdoor! for a whole year. In addition they will also receive a free professional photography session and a printed canvas approximately 75cm x 60cm worth up to £150.
